Carmen Navas

Carmen Navas

Critics see and define her artwork like one with a fresh style, simply naive, by combining the essence of the Modern Masters with the elements of Pop Art.  Carmen conserves a very personal style, which cannot be compared with any other.

Carmen was born in Granada, Spain.  She graduated as a Publish Draftswoman and studied with the artists Mariano Aguirre, Luis García Mozos, and Eduardo Arroyo.  She also studied for two years with the Group of Watercolor Artists of Madrid, with the Professor Javier del Valle, and with the painter and comic book illustrator José María Fernández Bielsa.  Carmen spent a few years drawing for the Circle of Fine Arts of Madrid, and complemented her art studies with workshops of engraving (copper, wood, and Linoleum) and lithographs.

During her artistic course she has realized a few individual and collective exhibitions in the following cities of Spain: Madrid, Granada, Villalba, etc.
